Renovation of a Spacious 4-Bedroom Bungalow in Bexhill

Updated: Dec 13

When we first arrived, the property was outdated and required comprehensive refurbishment and repairs. Our task was to completely transform the home, renovating every aspect of the property—including all rooms, walls, ceilings, kitchen, bathroom, utility room, toilets, and even exterior repairs.

Working closely with the client, we developed a detailed plan of works that envisioned a complete transformation. We began by stripping the property back to its shell, removing old ceilings and wallpaper, repairing walls, and constructing new stud walls. One of the bedrooms was upgraded to include an ensuite bathroom, thermal insulation boards were installed on walls, and a dedicated utility room was created. All plasterboards were installed to specification and thoroughly prepped for plastering.

Next, we approached the renovation room by room, ensuring all plastering was completed to a smooth and flawless finish, ready for painting. New skirting boards were fitted, radiators were updated, and plumbing connections were installed for the kitchen, bathroom, toilets, and utility room.

The kitchen and utility room were fully fitted, along with the bathrooms and ensuite, ensuring all finishes were modern and functional. Our electricians and flooring specialists installed lighting and high-quality flooring throughout the property, while interior doors were replaced to complement the fresh, contemporary look.

On the exterior, we applied a protective coat of white paint to refresh the property and enhance its curb appeal. The final touches, including painting, carpeting, and meticulous detail work, brought everything together to create a secure, stylish, and warm home.

Through the collaboration of all teams involved, we successfully delivered a modern and welcoming renovation, turning the once-outdated bungalow into a beautiful and up-to-date family home.
